Duocel® porous material manufactured by ERG Corporation, USA.

A groundbreaking multipurpose open-cell porous material that allows for the selection of materials such as aluminum, copper, Inconel, silicon carbide, and carbon.

You can independently specify the three elements that determine the properties of porous materials: "pore size," "relative density," and "material." There is a proven track record of use in military and civilian aircraft, as well as Mars exploration spacecraft.

Cells contain porous materials [Shinshu University, Textiles].

Introducing cells alive into the interior of porous materials!

This is a method to solve the issue of "incomplete infiltration" in tissue regeneration materials. Using vacuum pressure infiltration, we were able to introduce cells deep into porous materials (e.g., collagen, PLA, etc.). Subsequent proliferation and differentiation have also been confirmed.
